Offices Closing for Dragon Boat Festival.

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival (端午節) is a significant traditional holiday celebrated in China.

Commemorated on the 5th day of the 5th month in the lunar calendar, The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival fell last on June 16th 2010.

This celebration is known to the Chinese as an occasion to ward off diseases and for protection against evil. Focus includes dragon boat races, eating glutinous rice dumplings (糭子) and drinking healthy concoctions.
