Here is an interesting promo clock by KFC. The French fry shaped pendulum movement captures attention and by showcasing the KFC food and this increases brand awareness and associations.

Another eye-catching product, the Paper Book Clock. Shaped like the exact magazine, this promo by Time Magazine has certainly gained the hearts of their subscribers and built brand loyalty.

Light in a Can

This light decoration flashes different colors and can be stick on any magnetic surface. With its brand logo and the flashing lights, it is bound to enhance brand recall.

Other amazing products include watches for kids that can be used as a key chain and light decorations that come in a can.   We’ll write more about that later.

On the whole we saw a lot of factories who are introducing new promo ideas that are unique as well as practical to better relate to their customers.

This is a great promotion to offer to clients in order to get them to sign up for a long term subscription. Customers are always enticed to subscribe for a longer time period for newspapers or magazines when they see a perceived value for the free gifts being offered. In the case of this promotional campaign, readers who are used to buying the weekly newspaper may decide to sign up for two years in order to receive the free gifts which are collector items bringing together sketches from the past editions.

The advantage of these gifts is the requirement for subscriptions.    In order for a consumer to get all of these 9 gifts, they must subscribe and wait for the first five issues to arrive.

Low cost trading cards are used to start with, working up a beanie hat and rucksack, meaning that most customers will be looking for the latter two gifts, and therefore will need to subscribe for all five issues to get the most desired gifts.

The idea of drinking Guinness from a non see through glass would puzzle most Irish people but this is clearly an example of a brand adapting to International markets and tastes.

One of our buying office staff in China was invited to the promotional launch organized in the Xujiahui area of Shanghai – an area full of different shops & markets for electronics.
