As you have probably seen on our previous blogs (Carlsberg Fan Scarf GWP and Carlsberg Grass Can Cooler GWP for example), the beer company is currently really innovating with a huge budget for promogifts !

This time, Carlsberg is offering these branded cooler bags with every pack of four 400mL cans.

It’s pretty disappointing, they have been so original with their recent promotion that this one looks too common. Indeed, Coca-Cola is currently running the exact same kind of promotion in International Supermarkets in Hong-Kong.

That said, this gift with purchase is not bad and is a good way to drive sales, especially with the sunny days coming.

Here is another gift with purchase promotion we spotted at PARKnSHOP. The famous dairy company Mengniu is currently offering its customers these amazing On Pack Promo : with every milk pack purchased, customers can choose this toy car or this very cool tin pencil case.

Both of these promotional items are offered to attract children and not the adults anymore. They probably realized that the impact of their last campaign (read the article : Promotional Candles For A Milk Company) was not good enough.

Useful promotional products are appreciated by customers and they quite easily drive sales. However, even if this promotional merchandise is better than a candle or a torchlight (have a look to the article : a torch light with your milk) we think that it would have been better if the promotional gift was related to the purchase, why not a mug or a drink cooler just like the Octopus Suction Coolie…
