Easter is over now but it is never too late to promote chocolate! That is exactly why Nesquik has decided to open this online promotional gift store in France.

As you can see Nestlé is proposing a lot of different products such as plushes, books, bowls, bags, frisbee or pencil cases. All these items are obviously branded and most part of them are using Quicky’s model, Nesquik mascot.

It is very easy to get one of these promogifts as customers have two different options. They can just spend the points collected on Nestlé’s products pack, then add an extra 3 EUR. Alternatively they can buy this 30cm plush directly for 10 EUR.

Free gifts are usually more impactful so we think that it would have been probably better to offer some pens or smallers plush for free as gifts with purchase. The fact that the client has to pay this extra amount of money is not really appealing.

Promotional Ice Buckets are an excellent and very visible promotional advertising tool. Cold drinks are a big part of pleasure in life. For parties or meals having a nice ice bucket on the table to keep your drinks cold is always a nice thing to do!

There are many factories in China who can offer standard designs for beer buckets. These 2 buckets provide excellent advertising for brands with big logo printing areas at the sides & are some of the most common ice buckets you can see around.

Firstly we see a semi transparent model for Carlsberg. These buckets can be made in different colours and these hold around 6 standard bottles.

Beer is so important for parties, having these ice buckets will make the party even better!

On the right we see another design where all 6 bottles are separated. This looks better on the table, but takes up lots of space and is more cumbersome for bar staff to arrange and position.

Both of these promotional items are offered to attract children and not the adults anymore. They probably realized that the impact of their last campaign (read the article : Promotional Candles For A Milk Company) was not good enough.

Useful promotional products are appreciated by customers and they quite easily drive sales. However, even if this promotional merchandise is better than a candle or a torchlight (have a look to the article : a torch light with your milk) we think that it would have been better if the promotional gift was related to the purchase, why not a mug or a drink cooler just like the Octopus Suction Coolie…
