Promotional Product Redemption
Wellcome Hong Kong stores are currently offering a new Promotion. Collect stamps each time you shop and redeem the stamps for your choice of stylish bag. The i-Santi bag collection covers a wide range of bags for every occasion – trolley bags for travel to manbags.
Whilst they pitch these bags as coming from a well known Italian brand, famous for their high end leather, the bags on offer in shops are mainly Nylon and lower in value.
The POS display really does not do a good job of selling the bags.
Wellcome also offered PWP promo of towel & and similar Kitchenware redemptions in the past.
Promotional Products in store
Bags are all in black and whilst this means they could be understated, the bags leave little room for inspiration and do not create much emotion either way.
Suggest that some colour and stand out design features would improve the outlook and lead to higher perceived value on the bags.
Even showcasing fun designs on the inside lining would add a higher end feel to the promo – see all the black bags in duty free as case in point on how to stand out from the crowd. What do you think?
