The storage container seems to be almost the same size as the normal container (normal container already looks sturdy enough). This negates the immediate need for such a container for the Sunsweet Prunes.
The brand could have slightly changed the gift so that the Sunsweet pack would fit inside to save on shipping costs by fitting more products in each container.
